Would you be surprised to learn that SF home sales are growing in 2025? Citywide, closed deals were up about 4% annually in the early spring months (Feb-Apr) per MLS agent-reported data. This growth in demand lines up with the city's population rebound, which lately has been driven by international migration as reported by Axios.
Overall, the market is continuing to recover. Spring stats reflect a modest annual increase in home prices and fewer days-on-market for the median SF listing—particularly among condos and TICs which have been slower to sell than houses. Rental demand is rising too, according to the Examiner.
