Tanya Dzhibrailova was a dear friend and a highly admired real estate agent in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a former business partner, I had the privilege of working closely with Tanya for many years.
It was the depths of the Great Recession. At the time, I had taken a part time management position with Zephyr Real Estate at their West Portal office.
It was there that I met Tanya. She introduced herself and offered to help if I ever needed anything. My blog, SFHotlist, was doing well and even during a major downturn, first time buyers were sensing opportunity.
One day, I told her about a new first time buyer client looking in the Inner Sunset and asked if she wanted to partner with me to help them. That was on a Friday. By Monday, she had them under contract!!
The rest is history. We sold hundreds of homes together and made many friendships with our buyer and seller clients along the way.
She was generous with her friendship and her expertise, helping anyone who asked and some who didn’t. ;) Tanya was a force.
Tanya passed away in October 2023 at the age of 48. She is dearly missed.
