Eve was recommended by a friend and I had an equally great experience. Eve is particularly skilled in listening to feedback on what I liked and didn't like about the places we viewed, picking up on things that I didn't even realize I was reacting to as pro or con as we toured homes. It made the future searches incredibly efficient as she knew and really understood my preferences. She is incredibly responsive and always made herself available. During the process of submitting a bid her advice was spot on based on her experience and market insight. And once I was successfully under contract, she was better at following up and moving the process forward than I was! It was great! Even after I am now closed and moved in, Eve has helped me problem solve a few issues that have come up and continues to be an incredible resource.

I cannot say enough good things about Danielle Lazier and her Compass team who guided us through the sale of our home during one of the most tumultuous and uncertain times in the San Francisco residential real estate market. Danielle expertly help us navigate the process through everything from heightened emotions involved with leaving our home in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, logistics with showings and staging, and even with quickly finding a buyer.

Her network was able to locate an extremely well-qualified off-market buyer that helped short-circuit the listing process by bringing us an attractive offer without the need to stage and vacate our home in the middle of the pandemic. It saved us significant costs, both emotionally/mentally, as well as economically. She was even able to negotiate a lease-back period following a 10-day all cash close that allowed us the flexibility to move at a more leisurely and far less stressful pace than would have been afforded by a normal timeline.

I have worked with countless Realtors and intermediaries both personally and in my own profession and can honestly say that Danielle is hands-down the best there is. She is such a bright and well-rounded individual with a high emotional IQ that allows her to really understand a client’s needs, respond to their concerns, and truly act in their best interest every step of the way (must be the solid East Coast liberal arts background...). Even at times when she may have sensed some natural waffling or uncertainty on our side, we never once felt pressure from Danielle to proceed unless we were completely comfortable. We always felt she put our interest ahead of her own throughout and never strayed from her role as a fiduciary.

Electing to work with Danielle based on her customer service alone would be good enough reason to endorse her, but she also demonstrated total command of the SF real estate market nuances and was able to provide real-time market insight in the midst of total uncertainty during a period of wild fluctuation. We are so thankful to now have had two opportunities to work with Danielle Lazier and would welcome the opportunity to work with her again and would not hesitate to whole heartedly recommend working with her to our closest friends, family, or anyone looking to buy or sell a home in San Francisco.

I can highly recommend Danielle and her team. I met Danielle 4 years ago when I first considered selling my home, I interviewed her along with other agents and was most impressed with Danielle. I ended up not selling my home then but knew that if and when the time came I would want to work with Danielle. In June 2020 I decided to sell and reconnected with Danielle. I'm glad that I did. She is extremely knowledgeable, understanding, efficient and straight forward. I moved out in July 2020 so that Danielle and her team, which included Wendy Trotter Staging and various contractors, could prepare my condo (with minor updates, painting, etc) and stage it. They were very responsive and professional and did an awesome job. The condo and staging looked great. We put the condo on sale in August and Danielle did an excellent job of marketing it through social media and a website with photos and a spectacular virtual tour.

The SF market had changed from a seller's to a buyer's market (after 9 years, primarily due to COVID), and I was glad for Danielle's guidance and strategy in navigating this market change so that my condo would sell. She was very realistic about setting a listing price given the increase in inventory and competition, and although the price was lower than what I would have liked from the recent pre-COVID days, I trusted her judgment and experience and straight-forwardness in accepting that the market had changed. It paid off. The days of multiple bids had ended, unfortunately 🙁  We had 15 one-on-one private showings (no open houses due to COVID) and received only one bid, for slightly below asking. Danielle worked persistently with the buyer to secure the bid and helped me strategically negotiate the best price. Due to COVID-caused delays by the buyer's bank and appraiser the escrow process took longer than expected, but Danielle diligently stayed on top of them all throughout to a successful closing.

With Danielle's guidance I sold my condo within 2 weeks of it being listed in a rapidly changing buyer's market with greatly increased competition. We stayed ahead of the curve and moved my property while others have remained on the market. Danielle's expertise was invaluable and I can highly recommend her and her team.

Eve helped us find our home, and she was super responsive and listened to what we wanted, didn't pressure us at all. She is awesome. Kudos to Danielle for having such a great team and a smooth buying process!

Danielle works magic! I was secretly searching for a "project home" and one Friday morning found the perfect one in Stinson Beach. I surprised Danielle and sent her over the listing and asked her to investigate why it had fallen out of contract a few times. By Friday evening she had some answers and had given me an introduction to a non traditional lender who took my call while on vacation in Portland that evening. All weekend I crunched numbers and on Tuesday Danielle and I walked the home. It was amazing, I was hooked, I turned to Danielle and said this is my home now you have to get it for me. Unphased by my not so subtle pressure Danielle had been doing her thing behind the scenes since Friday chatting to the listing agent, communicating my interest and our knowledge of the property. Let's just say it has issues. Danielle asked me for my letter to submit with the package and we sent it in Wednesday morning. By Wednesday afternoon our offer had been accepted and we found out that the letter had sealed the deal. We were not the highest all cash bidder and they chose us — when does this ever happen? More than you think it seems. So within the space of 6 days I had my dream project home thanks to Danielle. Her deep knowledge of her industry and her ability to connect folks made this magic happen. I cannot recommend her highly enough, I just wish she knew how to design and replace a septic system.

We recently listed our condo in the Mission District with Danielle. She (and we) were forced to face a declining market due to a re-valuation brought on by the pandemic. She was able to suggest strategies that put us ahead of the market, and bring innovative alternative marketing that worked. We were able to close our sale - albeit at a price lower than we had hoped for. But in a market with excess inventory, we feel we faired well. Danielle is easy to work with and knows what works and what doesn't. A pleasure to know her and work with her.

From start to finish, Josh was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and available to answer any questions we had. As first time home buyers, it was so important that we felt we had an agent that had our best interest and Josh proved that immediately. We were able to find our dream home within our tight budget in just a couple of weekends of house hunting. Josh even showed us the house we bought late into the evening due to my work schedule. I've sold more than 20 homes over the past 50 years. This was the best transaction so far. Danielle sold my home in two days, escrow closed in 25 days, and she negotiated a price above asking. I couldn't be in SF for the duration, so Danielle or members of her team provided access to window washers, house cleaners, a plumber and others. Every text was answered promptly and all my questions got quick replies. Danielle understands the SF real estate market, is an astute pricing strategist, and her people skills are excellent. You would be wise to contact her if you're a buyer or a seller.
