Noe Valley's $1.7 Million Toilet is Finally Installed

After a long and winding journey through the bowels of bureaucracy, controversy and endless setback, Noe Valley's crown jewel of public restrooms has finally been installed at the Noe Valley Town Square! 🎉

The $1.7 million price tag initially caused quite a stink among Noe Valley residents, but thanks to generous donations from out-of-state vendors, the cost has been significantly reduced. (According to ABC7, “After the delivery and install, the city will spend $300,000 to cover things like permit fees and staff time.”)

To celebrate the occasion, the Noe Valley neighborhood is throwing a blowout party — The Toilet Bowl — on Sunday, April 21st at the Noe Valley Town Square. Why not come and make a splash?
