Me and my panel of amazing Realtors!
This past Tuesday, August 4, I spoke at Inman Connect on the topic of "What Marketing is Effectively Reaching Buyers and Sellers," along with a diverse group of top producing co-panelists. It was an honor to be a speaker along with this group of rockin' female Realtors.
Each panelist shared her unique point of view on marketing and specific flair for real estate, highlighting that each real estate market is unique and that what it takes to the be best varies from agent to agent and place to place.
Here's a taste of what our Inman Connect marketing panelists had to say:
Pam Blair, Principle Broker, YogaBug Real Estate. As an avid yoga practitioner this Portland-based real estate agent focuses on down-home authenticity to attract and keep loyal clients. She offers neighborhood style, including a page on her website where clients can post images of their dogs. For Pam, it's all about creating a community feel that sets clients at ease and lets them know she cares.
Sara MacLennan, Co-Founder, Director of Marketing, Liv Real Estate. Liv Real Estate, an Edmonton, Canada-based real estate agency, has an updated approach to branding and driving traffic to their website. Because of her corporate background, Sara understands how to build an brand and dominate a local market. This strategy has resulted in a team twenty people strong and over $220 million in real estate sold in 2014.
Vicki Monteagudo, Owner, Designated Broker, Realtor, Century 21 Tri-Cities. Vicki's approach to marketing has been to own two businesses--her real estate brokerage and a full-service marketing agency. By owning the marketing agency, Vicki can provide a full range of marketing services that really impresses potential sellers.
Danielle Lazier, Sales Director, Climb SF and Founder, SFhotlist Collective. Yup, that's me! If I had a dollar for every time someone told me to smile, I'd be a rich woman and could retire from real estate. This is my #RBF.
The panel emcee was so excited about our drag queen video that she kept encouraging the audience to see it for themselves. In case you missed it, here is another opportunity to check it out:
When the emcee asked me if I was worried that a video featuring drag queens would limit my market, I said "I have my value system and I live it everyday." That got some whistles and cheers!
If you want to know more about real estate marketing, or are looking to buy or sell a home, let's connect.
