Wow! Another fantastic event happening this weekend on Sunday !
The 24th Annual Fiesta on the Hill takes place on Cortland Avenue in Bernal Heights from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. A benefit for the Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center, this festival is a celebration of community, friends, neighbors, food, and live music. Don't forget your dancing shoes because these bands will get your feet moving! And don't miss the petting zoo -- one year, SFHotlist was out on Cortland very early on the day of Fiesta on the Hill and witnessed the parade of animals on their way to Cortland Avenue. Watching farm animals walking around the neighborhood was an amazing sight to see!
Bundle together Fiesta on the Hill in Bernal Heights with Sunday Streets in the Outer Mission/Excelsior and you have a double dose of San Francisco fabulousness all in one day. Bernal Heights and the Excelsior are basically right next to each other which means you can get to both events and don't have to make the dreaded "either/or" decision when planning your Sunday activities. Thankfully, the Potrero Hill Festival in Potrero Hill is on Saturday. It's the perfect warm-up race for the festival marathon you'll be doing on Sunday . Enjoy !
