Originally from Boston, Josh has called San Francisco home since 2012. As a lead buyer specialist, Josh is a shrewd negotiator and true team player with a competitive streak: a winning combination in real estate sales. He constantly studies the market to locate the best opportunities for his clients. Josh attributes his success to the relationships he builds and his transparent approach. He is persistent and dedicated to achieving his clients’ goals.
As the trusted real estate advisor for my clients, I understand that selling and/or buying a home is complex and deeply personal. There is also a lot at stake financially and personally. This perspective on the process and the responsibility felt towards my clients drives me to truly be an expert at the job. I understand the market, the players, and all of the variables involved in a real estate transaction. I want to make sure you feel supported and that you have a trusted advisor by your side.
As a seller, you want to effectively (and beautifully) market the home and then negotiate to secure the highest possible price and cleanest terms for the sale. As a buyer, you want a patient, yet assertive partner to help to buy the right home for you, at the best possible price. In other words, you want to make sure you don’t leave any money on the table. This is where our team steps in to partner with you as your consultant, negotiator and project manager.
In 2002, I launched my real estate career by creating and writing San Francisco’s first real estate blog, SFhotlist.com. My reputation amongst my peers is as a well-respected industry innovator and early adopter of social media and digital marketing for real estate. My team and I work hard to keep ahead of the curve, combining luxury home styling with technology and forward-thinking.
I’ve spent two decades excelling in the competitive landscape of San Francisco real estate and worked behind the scenes with hundreds of other real estate agents. My secret sauce, and the reason for the 5 star client reviews, is directness, transparency, stylish home staging and compelling listing marketing, expert negotiations, and the ability to keep people and deals on track — calmly and professionally. This ability is part natural instinct and part commitment to advanced, ongoing training and education. A lot of what agents do sound similar on paper. What varies (significantly) is how they do it and the resulting outcomes for their clients.
On a personal note, I care very deeply about my client’s individual situation, goals, and dreams. San Francisco real estate is exciting, challenging and often exhilarating. It’s not for the faint of heart!
To play a part in helping you get what you want — whether it’s selling your home to open a goat cheese farm in Oregon, retiring to Palm Springs or Wine Country, wanting that extra $50,000 from the counter offer to go from average-to-dream-kitchen in the new home, selling a parent’s home after they have passed away, relocating to the suburbs to raise a family, heading abroad for a midlife “gap year” while the kids are still young, heading into an RV after selling their company, or simply moving from one SF neighborhood to another in order to be closer to the children’s school — it is ALL incredibly gratifying to me. (And yes, those are all real-life examples!)
My team and I are honored to be your trusted real estate advisor. It’s a role we take very seriously. Providing you with reliable advice, a sound strategy and optimal results is win:win. You get to achieve your goals, and we enjoy the benefits of a long-lasting, sustainable career. As we embark on our third decade of Danielle Lazier Real Estate, I feel blessed and grateful for all of it.
I live in a San Francisco Victorian with a senior Pomeranian, twin monkeys (aka young children) and a good humored, supportive partner-in-crime. I’ve renovated homes, worked on development projects, and staged, marketed and sold over 1,000 homes for my clients. As an aspiring flâneuse, I am a good person to ask for food, wine, shopping and travel tips. In fact, I can’t wait to take you out to celebrate after the close of escrow!
I graduated from the Hockaday School in Dallas, TX and Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT with a degree in Latin American Studies and Government. It was a well-rounded liberal arts education that taught me to think critically. Side note: I was the President of our women’s rugby team too and played “second row”. (This will humor those of you familiar with rugby!)
In terms of real estate, our team is committed to lifelong learning. Our education is never complete. As a licensed Broker (as opposed to Salesperson), I continually invest time, money and thought into the latest sales, marketing and especially, negotiations techniques. Everyone on our team is smart, educated, experienced and dedicated to continual improvement.
If you’d like to work together, please reach out. I look forward to getting to know you and am here to help you achieve your goals!

Even before hitting the market, we push your property to the best local real estate agents via our off-market and coming soon marketing plan.
All tailored. All bespoke. All made to order. We don’t use the same recipe as everyone else, and you’ll find that the results are even sweeter—no cookie cutter required.

WE SUPPORT FAIR HOUSING
Let’s be real: Racism, sexism, homophobia, inequity, and injustice of all kinds exist, even in a forward-minded city like San Francisco. To end discrimination, there is work to be done.
At Danielle Lazier Real Estate, we are committed to lifting up our diverse communities, providing equal access to housing and services, and ensuring a fair and equitable future for everyone.
