Hi friends,
In this digital age, DIY is booming.
Sometimes that means installing shelves or fixing a busted appliance.
A penny saved is a penny earned!
But ask a doctor what they think of WebMD-style self-diagnosis, and their reaction is... adverse.
Now, we're no doctors, but as your friendly neighborhood Realtors we have some knowledge of when things are best left to the experts.
Recently, a number of clients have come to us after a rough time going it alone.
In one case, a past client planned to call me to negotiate their deal. They just wanted to see homes right away, and with open houses still verboten they set up some showings on Zillow.
Problem is, if they loved a home and wanted to buy it, they may have been stuck with the inexperienced showing agent since he'd be the procuring cause. (In short, if an agent causes a sale to be made, they are entitled to commission.)
Other clients have started with Redfin. It looks easy, and discounts never hurt, right?
Well, there’s no guarantee that all full-price agents are stellar, but a discount simply can't get you the same level of service, experience and connections. (Read our popular blog on SF Realtor fees.)
Each soon realized that they needed an expert who can provide top-notch strategy, intel and networking. (We were happy to oblige!)
What I'm getting at is this:
You're not wasting our time.
Even if you're just starting your home search...
Even if you're just testing the waters, not sure what you want to do...
We're here to help.
Seriously. In fact, it's kind of our thing.
So, when the time comes for you to buy or sell a home, where should you begin?
Right here!
As always, please don't hesitate to reach out with any real estate-related questions. We are very happy (and grateful!) to help you and anyone you send our way!
